Ms. Nadia Kashif is working as the Coordinator Migrant Resource Centre Lahore since 2018. She holds an MBA degree with specialization in HRM and has more than 16 years of working experience in the country and abroad. She has vast expertise in dealing with public offices, stakeholder management, building capacities of local CSOs, managing and monitoring community intervention projects and working with international organisations. Nadia is responsible for the overall coordination and progress of the MRC Lahore.
Mr. Umer Wazir is working as MRC Coordinator Islamabad. Mr. Umer holds a dual Master’s degree in Project Management and Business Administration and has more than 7 years of experience working in the development sector. He has been working at the MRC since its inception in 2016. He is responsible for the overall coordination and progress of the MRC Islamabad.
Hameed Ullah Khan is working as MRC Counsellor in Islamabad. He holds a dual Master’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from Anglia Ruskin University, England. Hameed holds 5 years of working experience in the development and services sector in Pakistan and United Kingdom. At the MRC, his responsibilities includes conducting pre-departure briefings at the POE office, orientations sessions on safe and legal migration in TVET and educational institutes and also providing support in managing MRC social media accounts. He is articulate in English, Urdu and Pashto languages.
Mr. Farhan Mahmood is currently working as MRC Counsellor Lahore. He has diverse experience in media field, creating awareness and development projects management. He holds a degree of Masters in Philosophy in Media and Communication Studies. Farhan is supporting MRC Pakistan for handling MRC social media, conducting community outreach, awareness sessions in educational institutes on safe and legal migration as well as providing pre-departure briefing to outgoing migrants. Farhan is also engaging journalists of electronic, print and digital media to train them on migration reporting and helps in spreading safe and legal migration information.
Rana Imran Arshad, MRC Counsellor Lahore, has professional experience of more than one decade in development sector and has managed mega community rollout projects for the BISP, USAID, Save the Children, International Labour Organization (ILO) and Women Development Department (Government of Punjab) funded projects. He has academic background in Business Administration. Imran is the MRC focal point for developing and conducting community outreach programmes. apart from personal counselling and community outreach, his responsibilities include conducting pre-departure briefings at the POE office, orientations sessions on safe and legal migration in TVET and Educational Institutes.
Advocate Hafiza Taram Bashir is working as MRC Counsellor, Islamabad. Taram has over 8 years of experience in the field of immigration and corporate sector. She is also a practicing lawyer at Lahore High Court. She has good communication skills and has demonstrated ability to provide information and service to potential migrants and migrant workers. At the MRC, Taram is involved in conducting community outreach activities. Taram is a law graduate and also holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics.
Ms. Juwairia Sultan, MRC Counsellor Lahore, holds a master degree in development studies. Juwairia has more than 13 years of experience in the development sector and has extensive experience of coordination with international organisations, government departments as well as engagement with the communities.
Ms. Mariya Sohail holds a degree of M.Phil. in Media and Communication Studies. She has more than 5 years of experience in the development sector. Currently, associated as the “Counsellor” for the project Migrant Resource Centre (MRC) Pakistan. She is working directly with the outgoing, potential, and intending migrants, providing them with information and guidance on “safe and informed migration”. Besides this, she conducts pre-departure orientations (Country Specific) with government-registered Overseas Employment Promotors(OEPs) and community outreach sessions. Her keen interest in digital marketing has enabled her to manage a number of social media campaigns for the MRC and its stakeholders.
Ayesha Zubair Working as MRC Counsellor. With a post-graduate degree in Clinical Psychology, Ms. Zubair is a mental health practitioner working as a Migration Caseworker in different humanitarian settings. Before joining MRC, Ayesha worked in the developmental and social sectors for five years. She had vast experience in dealing with migrants from Pakistan and abroad in civilian and detention settings. She has also worked directly with families of missing migrants, Afghans, and unaccompanied and separated minors. She has expertise in providing psychosocial support to the families of migrants who are missing or detained abroad.

She has vast experience in public governance, and working with international organisations. Nadia started working with the MRC in 2018. She is responsible for the overall coordination and progress of the MRC Lahore and reports to the Department Labour, Punjab.
Mr. Umer Shahzad is currently working as MRC Counsellor Lahore. His portfolio carries a diverse experience of more than 10 years in developing, managing, implementing, monitoring & evaluation of development projects along with an experience in Marketing and Communication. He is Master’s in Business Administration specialized in Project Management and Human Resource. Till now he is in advocating the Policy-makers on different social issues, working in close liaison with the Local Government at grass root level and had a vast experience in developing volunteer networks for better community interventions.
Mr. Umer Wazir, MRC Counsellor Islamabad, holds a dual Master’s degree in Project Management and Business Administration. Umer has been working at the MRC since its inception in 2016. Umer is the focal person at the MRC for supporting pre-departure orientation sessions on safe and legal migration in different institutes, including the Protectorate of Emigrants Office.
Tahseen Ullah is working as MRC Counselor based in Islamabad. He holds three master degrees in Anthropology, Education and Gender and Women Studies. Tahseen has over 10 years of working experience in the development sector, emergency response and recovery in areas of program planning, implementation and management in Pakistan on AUSAID, CIDA, DFID and USAID funded projects. His other expertise includes providing technical assistance in education and health related projects, evidence based advocacy with state departments, social support, conducting research, evaluation studies and large scale surveys. Tahseen is fluent in English, Urdu and Pashto languages.
Ms. Shahzia Rafique is working as MRC Counsellor based in Lahore. She holds Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Business Management. She has worked with educational sector, conducting community outreach, and raising awareness on safe migration in vocational training institutes. She also handles MRC Pakistan social media Facebook account. Her areas of interest and specialization include research work, Safe migration, Irregular Migration and counselling.
