Labour migration in generally considered as the movement of persons from one state to another, for employment. Labour migration includes both short- and long-term migrants and seasonal workers. A “migrant worker” is a person engaging in a remunerated activity in a country of which he or she is not a national. In some countries such as Iraq and Bangladesh, they are called foreign workers or expatriates respectively.
